Kajakdrager

Een kajakdrager wordt gebruikt om een kajak op het autodak te vervoeren. Er zijn een aantal verschillende kajakdragers op de markt. Even though they all essentially serve the same function, they come in different shapes, sizes and price ranges.

• Kayak safety

The kayak rack's most important function is to transport the kayak safely. Safe transport means that the kayak is not at risk of being damaged, dropped, or scratched during transport.

• Ease of transport

If you move your kayak around frequently, it's important that it's easy to mount the kayak on the roof rack. Keep in mind that time spent loading the kayak is often time lost out on the water.

Do you find it cumbersome to load the kayak onto the car roof by yourself? Then you can try a boat roller. This makes it easy and smooth to push the kayak up onto the roof by yourself.

• Space on the roof rack

If you have a car with limited space on the roof rack, you can usually still fit a transport cradle where the cradle extends a bit beyond the roof rack's length. If you want to transport two kayaks on the roof, you can in this way fit two transport cradles side by side, regardless of how wide your roof rack is.
