Our kayak loader with rotating roller makes it easy to load the kayak onto the car roof on your own. You attach it to the car's rear window with two suction cups, and it serves as a support for the kayak as you slide it up onto the roof. Once the kayak is on the roof, the loader is easily removed by releasing the suction cups before departure.

  • Rotating roller for smooth loading
  • Easy to load the kayak onto the car roof by yourself
  • Reduces damage during loading

The kayak loader can be used to great advantage together with our practical kayak accessories.

The kayak loader works with almost any car and is both practical and easy to use. If you often paddle alone, this is an essential accessory, especially if you want to be able to load the kayak onto the car roof by yourself. With the kayak loader, you avoid heavy and awkward lifting, and the large, wide rotating roller gives you good control over the kayak. You also avoid the risk of the kayak bumping into and damaging the car. If you often transport your kayak on the car roof, this is a worthwhile investment for your kayak.

How do I mount it on the car?
You easily mount the kayak loader on the car's rear window using the 2 suction cups. Start by wiping the surface clean where you'll attach the suction cups. Then secure them using the handles on each suction cup. It can be adjusted to different heights to fit your car, and if needed, it can also be attached to the car's bodywork.

Once it's attached to the car, place the kayak against the rotating roller and slide the kayak up onto the car roof. For safe transport, we recommend using our foam transport cradles to minimise strain on the kayak while it rests on the roof rack.

Once you've loaded the kayak onto the roof, remove the kayak loader before departure. This is easily done by releasing the tension in the suction cups using the handles. When unloading the kayak, attach the kayak loader to the car again and carefully lower the kayak using the roller.

This kayak loader fits all types of kayaks and takes up little space in the car when not in use. If you'd like a smaller kayak loader, we recommend our Boat Roller. Read more about it here.
